Ingredients :
1. 2 cups basil leaves 
2. 3-4 tbs nutritional yeast 
3. 3 tbs pine nuts/walnuts 
4. 3 peeled cloves of garlic 
5. 2 tbs fresh lemon juice 🍋 
6. 1/2 celery or sea salt
7.  2 tbs olive oil
8. 3-5 tbs water (more if needed) •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Method: 
1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor except the olive oil and water, mix until a thick paste forms
2. Add the olive oil slowly in, if possible from the feeding tube or a table spoon at a time 
3. Add the water, a tablespoon at a time, stop when your desired consistency is reached 
If I'm feeling indulgent I make a quinoa pesto pasta with this sauce, for easy lunches I substitute the pasta with zucchini spaghetti or add a dollop to salads. 🏼
