The entwined guava tree outside my bedroom window has spent the last two months entertaining her guest Autumn, laden with fruit so bountiful her branches could almost touch the ground. She has been very generous and has even dropped a few on my windowsill beckoning me to go outside to join them and indulge in her edible gifts. But the season has come to an end and Winter has already taken up residence with her icy chill. I'm still reveling in the last few guavas of the harvest that Autumn left behind.
