Secure, central and serene – Kylemore truly is something else. This spacious new apartment looks out over the glamorous V&A Waterfront on the Cape Town foreshore. The best part is that it’s only a few minutes’ drive from the very heart of Cape Town!
Venturing inside this canal-front property is like stepping into another world. Everything is clean and white with sparkling metal and wooden finishes. African patterns and artwork add a personal charm. The lounge opens onto a balcony with a six-seater dining table and is perfect for sunset cocktails or a home-cooked gourmet dinner looking out across the private waterways of the marina.
After dinner, kick back and relax in the master bedroom with its ethnic-urban design, large, comfy bed and en-suite marble bathroom. The second bedroom, no less grand than the first, has twin beds and is ideal for children.
Waking up with the warm Cape Town sun coming through the windows, I felt refreshed after a good night’s rest. After breakfast, eaten on the balcony, I went for a workout at the Kylemore complex’s private gym with hot and cold pools.
