Gudeg is a traditional slow-cooked food from Yogyakarta and Central Java, Indonesia. Gudeg is made from green jackfruit, palm sugar, coconut milk and spices. Gudeg is commonly served with boiled egg and chicken opor (curry), along with sambal kerecek, tofu and tempeh.
I&039;ve just received this gudeg in can from my second sis @ayamtangkapmamahjanny in Jakarta.
It really fulfilled my craving of traditional Javanese food.
Ps: love my new banana leave shaped plate from New Asian Spice 186 Main Rd Sea Point. It&039;s only R24 each!
