So this is what the Indonesian called Rujak. It's a spread of cut tropical fruits, usually consisting of pineapple, star fruit, young mango, apple, watermelon, sweet potato, Pamelo, kedondong and Jambu (the 2 latter mentioned are not available in SA though).
The dip is made from gula Jawa (Indonesian palm sugar), fried peanut, 🌶, salt, tamarind/pineapple and shrimp paste.
I often make this healthy snack in summer.
