Fry onion, garlic, ginger, masala powder, tumeric, cinnamon stick, curry leaves and cumin in some butter... stir until all turns into a paste... add cubed chicken, a tbsp of yoghurt and red lentils, cook on medium heat for a few minutes. Add water (for every cup of lentils, 2 cups of water) and simmer until absorbed by the lentils.
