When I first became vegetarian there were barely any options at restaurants or on road trips that were suitable for me. Standard was cheese and tomato toastie, margarita pizza, chips or Greek salad… Oh how far South Africa has come in catering for different peoples needs! Today you can go to restaurants that cater with gluten free options, banting , dairy free and have entire vegan or vegetarian sections to their menus!
I love restaurants like this that can cater for everyone and ensure the whole group or family is happy!

I had this incredible salad yesterday at Deerpark Cafe in Cape Town!
I think I&039;m falafels biggest fan, could put them in anything and I&039;d love it! Crispy falafel, yummy greens, seeds, aubergine, humus… unbelievably delicious!
